FertCalc Pro

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 9, 2026

This policy describes how FertCalc Pro ("we" and "us") handles information when you use FertCalc Pro, a web application for fertilizer blend and quote calculations. It works together with the Terms of Service.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use session replay. The site loads Meta's pixel to measure visits and ads, including Facebook lead ads, as described below.

Information we collect

Account details. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and password. The password is handled by the sign-in service. We do not keep a separate copy of it. We also store the company name, and the role of each person in the company.

What you put in the app. That includes blends, quotes, and product prices; fields, soil tests, crops, application plans, inventory, and spreader settings; company logos; field boundary files and soil-sample files; feedback notes, an optional rating, and feature requests; and a short activity record, such as a saved quote or an invite.

Free downloads. When someone requests a free download, we collect an email address and, if they choose to give them, a name and company. We use that information to deliver the download and, only if they opt in, to send occasional FertCalc Pro tips and updates. They can unsubscribe or ask for deletion at info@fertcalcpro.com.

Payment. Paid plans use Stripe Checkout. We store a Stripe customer id, a subscription id, the plan, and the subscription status. We do not store card numbers. Card details are entered on Stripe and Link's pages.

On your browser. The app stores a few things in local storage on the device, and one item in session storage for the current tab:

  • the sign-in session, so you stay logged in
  • a draft of the blend you are working on, which the app drops after 7 days
  • product prices, saved blends, and additive settings kept on that browser when they are not saved to the company account
  • the company name and plan you chose, until checkout finishes
  • your light or dark theme, whether you closed the intro hint, and whether two calculator sections are open
  • whether this browser already requested the free downloads, so the files can be shown without asking again
  • whether this browser already reported a trial or registration event, so the same account is not reported twice
  • crop targets passed from the crop library into the calculator for that browser tab

Cookies and analytics. FertCalc Pro does not set its own analytics cookie and does not use session replay. When the Meta Pixel is enabled, the browser loads Meta's script from connect.facebook.net. Meta may set cookies such as _fbp and may read an ad click identifier. The pixel sends:

  • a page view when you open the site, and again when you move between pages in the app
  • a Lead event when the free-download email form is saved, and when a new company signup form is saved
  • a StartTrial event with a value of 0 US dollars, once, after that new account is created or the 14-day trial is confirmed
  • a CompleteRegistration event when a new account is created for an email that already used its free trial

If you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad, including a Facebook lead ad, Meta can connect that ad to these events. We do not receive the contents of a Facebook instant lead form in FertCalc Pro. Stripe and Link may set cookies on their own checkout pages. The pixel snippet also includes a noscript image so a page view can be counted when JavaScript is off.

Weather, if you use it. If you type a ZIP code or city, or if you choose "Use My Location," that location is sent to a forecast service so the page can show the weather. We do not save that location in your account. The browser asks before it shares your device location.

Why we use it

We use this information to run your account, calculate and save blends, print quotes and blend sheets, share work inside your company, take payment, send account and feedback email, and remember settings on your device. When someone requests a free download, we use the email, and any name or company they gave us, to deliver the download. We send occasional tips and updates only if they opt in. When the Meta Pixel is enabled, we use it to measure page views, download leads, and signups, including visits from Facebook and Instagram ads.

Who we share it with

People in your company can see that company's blends, quotes, fields, and files. We also share information with the services that run FertCalc Pro:

  • Supabase stores accounts, the database, and files. Company logos and uploaded field files (boundaries and soil samples) are kept in Supabase storage. The sign-in session is kept in the browser's local storage.
  • Stripe and Link, LLC (a Stripe company) process checkout, subscriptions, sales tax, and the customer portal. Card numbers stay with them. We send Stripe the account email and company name so it can create the customer.
  • Resend sends feedback email and account-approval email. Feedback goes to the product owner and includes your name, email, company, and the note you wrote. When an admin approves an account, Resend sends that person one email from the approving admin's name at noreply@fertcalcpro.com. It includes the person's name, the approving admin's name, and a sign-in link.
  • Supabase Auth sends the signup confirmation, the password-reset email you request from the sign-in page, and team invite emails. An admin can also generate a password-reset link that is returned to the admin to share. Resend does not email that link.
  • Vercel hosts the website. A visit includes the usual connection details a host receives, such as an IP address.
  • Google Fonts supplies the Figtree and JetBrains Mono fonts from Google's servers. Loading a page sends the browser's IP address to Google.
  • Open-Meteo and OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) receive a ZIP code, city, or coordinates only when you use the weather tool, so they can return a forecast.
  • Cloudflare (cdnjs) provides a PDF library. The browser loads that script from cdnjs.cloudflare.com when you download a PDF.
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) receives pixel events when the Meta Pixel is enabled, so we can measure site visits and ads, including Facebook lead ads. That can include the page you viewed, the event name (page view, lead, start trial, or complete registration), and cookie or ad identifiers Meta already has. We do not send your name, email, or card number to Meta.

How long we keep it

You can ask us to export or delete your company's data by emailing info@fertcalcpro.com. We handle that request within 30 days. Routine backups may keep a copy for up to 30 more days before they are overwritten. Billing and tax records are kept as long as the law requires, generally up to 7 years.

Your choices

Email info@fertcalcpro.com to access, correct, delete, or export your information, to delete your account, or to unsubscribe from download tips and updates. You can also clear this site's data in your browser to remove what is stored only on that device, including the sign-in session and local drafts. You can block or delete Meta cookies in your browser; the rest of FertCalc Pro still works if you do.

Children

FertCalc Pro is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth. We do not keep a separate copy of your password or your card number. Card details are entered on Stripe and Link's pages. Company data in the database is limited by company and role.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date. We will email the address on the company account at least 30 days before a material change takes effect.
